At Fransabank, we attach great importance to climate action and have had a long-standing commitment to climate change. More than ever, global emissions are reaching their highest levels in human history and continue to rise, with climate change profoundly impacting economies, supply chains, and communities worldwide.
In this scope, we submitted Fransabank Headquarters Greenhouse gas inventory report 2023 in accordance with Decision 99/1-2013, and received a certificate of acknowledgment from the Ministry of Environment and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) - Lebanon. Our total CO₂ emissions registered an 8% decrease in 2023 as compared to 2022, a result that underscores our dedication to mitigating climate risks and fostering a low-carbon future.
Fransabank remains focused on its environmental sustainability strategy and its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13 (SDG 13) – Climate Action, along with other targeted SDGs.
